The Benefits of physical activity enhances the lives of young people in many ways. To compliment the physical activity opportunities provided at school, and to reinforce the knowledge and skills developed in the school context, the Department of Sport and Recreation has developed an easy to use, online sport and recreation calendar.
The online calendar contains fun activities for children and adolescents to participate in during school holiday periods. It includes a wide scope of community sport and active recreation activities including clinics, camps, leisure centre programs and family fun days across Western Australia.
The calendar can be found at www.dsr.wa.gov.au . Lets work together to get kids physically active.
